GirleffectHK reading at the Farmer's Market on 1 April

Once again, GirleffectHK will be selling chocolate-chip cookies, great children's books and reading stories to the kiddies at the DB North Plaza Farmer's Market... all to raise money for the Siem Reap School of Arts. Come join us!

GIRLEFFECTHK SUCCESS at the DB Farmer's Market!

GIRLEFFECTHK was given a booth at the first Discovery Bay Farmers Market held yesterday at DB North Plaza. The girls sold delicious and HUGE oatmeal-chocolate chip cookies at 410 per piece, as well as Blaise's new kid's book JOY TO THE WORLD: 20 ways kids can show kindness to others and find luck for themselves (and an assortment of other children's books).

GirleffectHK friends Danica, Elaine and Emi came to help Blaise sell cookies and offer story readings to the eager kids. Together, they raised over 1200 dollars in just 4 hours.

The Farmer's Market was a success and we hope to see you there again soon...

Fall Season of Fundraising is complete!

GirlEffect raised HKD 2500 for the Siem Reap School of Arts this fall, selling lovely recyclable gift bags, etc. at the DB Recycling Fair on 13 November, The Backyard Bazaar in September, and The Holiday Bazaar last week.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank a 'secret' benefactor for his donation of 200 HKD to WWF-HK... THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
